I have owned this car for 10 years. Safety updates include seat belts for five, 4 wheel discbrakes, modern brake booster with dual reservoir master cylinder, and a newsteering gearbox with road feel and quicker ratio equal to a new car. Mechanicalupdates not available in 1965 include an overdrive transmission, electronic fuelinjection, new fuel plastic fuel lines and an in-tank pump enabling this car toperform like a much newer car, keeping pace in higher traffic speeds andachieving 20 mpg. During my ownership the interior was completely redone, thecar comes with additional vinyl in both patterns. Every part in the factory airconditioning and heating has been replaced except the evaporator and works verywell. I have not painted the car, the paint is over 10 years old, it still looksvery good. I received the car on a california title and a black lisc. Plate andbelieve the car was only in california until i acquired it. The car has theoriginal floor pans and trunk floor. I am unaware of any rust or major bodyrepairs. I appears that the trunk floor was undercoated inside the trunk priorto my ownership. I have maintained it with trunk paint through the years. Hasthe original mat also. I has been maintained with such use in mind and i neverhesitate to drive it long distances. Air Conditioning

Pictures don t do this car justice. It's a crowd pleaser!!! It is finished in basecoat/ clearcoat black and house of kolors lime time pearl that was laid on smooth and slick. Not only is the paint slick, but the body is straight and has had perfect changes to make it look sleek and mean. The hood and decklid were shaved to clean things up and a billet grille was added.

Car is also very reliable and wenton a road trip way before restoring from phoenix to monterey in 2007. Car is more reliable now as a lot of work hasbeen done since then. Perfectly preserved no rust original panel body was disassembled and each panel was urethane block sanded andpainted in original cameo white, color sanded and buffed and then reassembled . 2011 bmw 1-series review this car review is specific to this model, not the actual vehicle for sale. Inspiration for the 1 series came from the bmw 2002 of some 40 years ago (1968-76). the 2011 bmw 1 series comes in coupe and convertible models in two versions: the bmw 128i and the bmw 135i. the 2011 bmw 135i benefits from an all-new inline-6 engine, here using a single turbocharger to produce 300 horsepower, and paired with the sporty 7-speed dual clutch transmission from the z4 roadster. (code-named n55, the 2011 engine replaces last year's 300-hp twin-turbo inline-6.) the 2011 bmw 135i is also available with a 6-speed manual gearbox, which we found silky smooth and a pleasure to operate. Fuel economy from the 135i even edges that of the 128i, with an epa-estimated 20/28 mpg city/highway for a 2011 135i coupe. the 2011 bmw 128i coupe and convertible continue to be powered by the normally aspirated 3. 0-liter inline-6 that generates 230 hp and 200 lb-ft of torque. They're available with 6-speed manual or 6-speed steptronic automatic. an m sport package adds a sports suspension that favors handling over ride quality. the bmw 1 series is nearly seven inches shorter overall than the 3 series. Every major part of the car, the nose, the bodyside, the roof and the rear end, blends with the rest of the car to make a shorter, narrower version of the 3 series with a different and special roofline. Some would argue, however, that the slab-like sides are bland compared to other, more sculpted bmws. we're fond of the m aerodynamics package standard on the 135i, including the huge air intakes below the bumper, necessary for cooling the turbocharger intake air. The 128i has a cleaner, albeit more conventional, full-width opening below the bumper, divided into three parts by two angled struts. The outboard sections are then sub-divided horizontally, with a fog light at the top and a small grille underneath. The bottom edge of the opening turns up at the ends, smile-like. at the rear, the 128i dispenses with the 135i's prominent spoiler, in favor of a more gentle lip integrated into the trunk lid. And the 128i's rear bumper is entirely body-color, lacking the black-out panel seen on the 135i. Drag coefficient actually improves, from 0. 33 to 0. 31 cd. put the top down on the convertible models, and the flared shoulder line that's shared with the coupes seems to form a single surface that surrounds the interior, like the deck of a small boat. Just about everything inside is in the same location and looks and operates the same way. we found the front bucket seats to be very comfortable and supportive, with big side bolsters. It includes a central control knob with a separate menu button, while other version add cd, tel, radio, nav, back and option buttons around the controller.
